Today I'm sharing a new build: a minimal PySide6 application designed for basic SQLite Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations. The goal was to create a straightforward GUI that interacts directly with a SQLite database.
This application displays the contents of a specified SQLite table. Users can then perform common database actions:
- Add rows: Insert new data into the table.
- Edit rows: Modify existing entries.
- Delete rows: Remove records from the table.
It's built with minimal overhead, relying solely on PySide6 for the GUI components and the Python standard library for database interaction. There are no additional external dependencies, making it a self-contained solution for simple database management tasks. This tool is intended for developers or users who need a quick, no-frills way to interact with SQLite databases without setting up more complex administration tools.
