Shipped: Personal Attack Detector for Content Moderation

Today, QuackBuilds is releasing the Personal Attack Detector, a new tool designed to help with content moderation.

The Personal Attack Detector scans a given block of text for a list of common words associated with personal attacks. When it identifies such words, it will list the specific lines in the text where these words appear. This functionality aims to provide a quick way to review user-generated content or community posts.

The primary use case for this tool is pre-publication review. For instance, if you manage a forum, comment section, or any platform where users contribute text, you can use the detector to quickly flag content that might violate community guidelines regarding personal attacks. This allows for human review of potentially problematic sections before the content goes live.

One of the design considerations was to keep the tool self-contained. The Personal Attack Detector operates without requiring any external dependencies, making it straightforward to integrate into existing workflows or use as a standalone utility for text analysis.
