I've shipped pdf2epub, a new command-line tool designed for converting PDF files into EPUB format. The primary function of this tool is to handle bulk conversions, allowing users to process all PDF documents within a specified directory using a single command.
The tool focuses on a straightforward conversion process. When converting, pdf2epub aims to preserve metadata from the original PDF files. This means information such as title, author, and other relevant details should carry over to the new EPUB files.
pdf2epub is intended for users who need to convert multiple PDF documents for use on e-readers or other EPUB-compatible devices. It offers a direct approach to converting collections of documents without requiring individual file processing.
