I've built a new template called the Consistent Persona Prompt Template. If you use ChatGPT for ongoing projects, you know how easily its tone or focus can drift. This template addresses that.
It works by providing ChatGPT with a defined persona at the start of a conversation. Crucially, it also includes a mechanism to re-inject prior chat history into new prompts. This repetition helps the model remember its role and the context of the discussion, preventing it from deviating into unrelated topics or changing its communication style.
The goal is simple: make ChatGPT a more reliable assistant for tasks that require sustained consistency. If you've found yourself re-explaining things or trying to nudge the AI back on track, this template might be helpful.
