What are your goals for week 32 of 2024? BTS edition.

It's week 32 of 2024. Here students are headed back to school. It's crazy to send students back to school during the heat of summer.

Last week was the second anniversary of this series. It's a good time for change. Instead of telling how I did on last weeks goals on the next week's post, I going to update this post through out the week as I meet goals.

Thanks for all your comments on this series.

What are your goals for the week?

  • What are you building?
  • What will be a good result by week's end?
  • What in person or virtual events are happening this week?

This Week's Goals [UPDATED]

I going to try updated these during the week or on Friday instead waiting till the next week. I'll add [UPDATED] as I go.

  • Continue Job Search. Had a screening call.
  • Project work. working on a React-Native photo project. Deployed it to the expo account.
  • Blog.
  • Events.
    • Thursday Virtual Coffee
    • [✅]Dallas Software Developers Night of JavaScript (virtual)
    • Attended 3 events on Wednesday. One was a Zoom that could have been an email, one on managing time as a Dad, The last was Bekha on 100 Days of Open source. It can be seen on github Education's twitch account.
  • [✅] Run a goal setting thread on Virtual Coffee(VC) Slack. -[✅] Take part in the Aug Virtual Coffee Photography Challenge.
    • Maybe I can find something for a new header for this series
